Youth Support Service and Central Beds College visit Houghton Regis Academy.

National Apprenticeship Week 2017

We were lucky enough to be visited by staff members from the Youth Support Service (Centralbeds.ac.uk) and Central Bedfordshire College in Dunstable on Friday 10th March. Our students from years 7-11 had the opportunity to meet with them in a packed library to discuss careers choices. This was a very valuable chance for students to gather information about what is being offered in the local area to young people in order to ensure they achieve their full potential.

Staff members gave information on apprenticeships, childcare, health and social care
opportunities from sector professionals
